Here we answer the most frequently asked questions about VYC and our application. If a question remains unanswered, please feel free to contact us or use our support page for questions about using VYC.

  • Yes, especially for large businesses with more than 16 hectares. Please contact us!

  • VYC offers you various payment methods, whether annual or monthly. As a rule, payment is made by direct debit. If you require other payment methods, please contact us.

  • VYC's notice periods vary depending on the product. As a rule, however, the products have a contract term of 2 years. These can be terminated within 3 months of the end of the contract. Otherwise, they are automatically extended by 12 months to give you an undisturbed user experience.

  • In an initial consultation, we evaluate which modules make sense for your business. If you need more modules, you can book them at any time. Just get in touch with us.

  • Modules are not restricted to a contract period of 2 years and can also be canceled annually. Simply get in touch with us.

  • We will set up the account and create an initial user for you and may already have done so with a test account. We also import your areas and lots, including the division and merging of lots / fields after analyzing the vineyard register. This service costs €34.90 per hectare.

     

    Missing data can be extracted on request for a one-off charge of €4.90 per lot.

     

    However, you can also import your areas yourself free of charge using the shape uploader and make your own personal assignment.

  • Do you already have your shape data? With our shape uploader, you are able to import your areas with lot numbers directly. You need the 4 files of a shape file: .dbf / .shx / .shp / .prj.

    Your shape file may not contain any information on the planting of the respective area. In this case, the data from the vineyard register must first be prepared manually in order to match them. The structure of the data supplied varies depending on the country and wine-growing region.

  • Our support team will be happy to help during our office hours. Please feel free to send us an e-mail or give us a call. Support is included with all products.
